1 Airlifted and 3 Transported to Local Hospitals After Head-on Collision

Police investigating after a head-on collision sends 4 to the hospital including one 12-year-old.

Just after 9 p.m., Officers from Pacific Police and Algona Police as well as crews Valley Regional Fire were dispatched to a head-on collision in the 200 block of Ellingson Road. Crews arrived and found two vehicles involved in the collision blocking all lanes. Both drivers were transported to Harborview Medical Center with one being transported by Airlift. Two other patients, including a 12-year-old, were transported to area hospitals.

According to Pacific Police Chief Schwartz, his department is taking the original accident report while Washington State Patrol is handling the investigation and at this time the cause of the collision is under investigation. More information will be added as it becomes available.
