Argument Leads to Fatal Shooting in SeaTac Safeway Parking Lot

One male is dead after an argument turns violent in a Safeway Parking lot in SeaTac.

SeaTac, WA: Around 10:20 p.m., Deputies with the King County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting in the 4000 block of South 164th at the Safeway.

According to Sgt.Ryan Abbott with the Sheriff's Office, two men got into an argument outside a vehicle on the north side of the parking lot.

According to witnesses in a vehicle, a single gunshot was heard and the victim was seen running east through the parking lot before collapsing onto the ground a short distance away. The suspect was seen fleeing from the scene in a blue color sedan-type vehicle.

Despite life saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, it appears the suspect and victim knew each other. King County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Detectives are investigating and gathering information.

It is unknown at this time if surveillance video from Safeway captured the incident.
