Beloved Mother and Grandmother Killed in Parkland Hit-and-Run

Pierce County Sheriff is looking for the driver of a white Ford van after the driver took off from a crash.

Parkland, WA: At around 8:55 p.m., crews with Central Pierce Fire and Rescue received a report of a high speed t-bone style collision in the South 13800 block of Yakima Avenue South in Parkland.

Upon arrival, crews found the driver of a white Ford work van had taken off from the scene and the driver of a Ford Escape was entrapped in their vehicle with critical injuries.

The driver of the Ford was seen moving items out of the van after the collision into a similar van, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department

Crews extricated that patient and transported them to a nearby trauma center where they sadly died.

So far we have learned the victim was 69-year-old Patricia Williamson with six kids and 15 grandchildren.

Family wants to know who would commit a terrible crime against Patricia. They are pleading for the driver of the van to turn themselves in.
