Child Injured After Hit-and-Run High Speed Crash in Kent

Driver and occupants flee after colliding with an SUV occupied by several children.

Kent, WA: Just before midnight, emergency crews were dispatched to the 12200 block of S 252nd for a reported high speed injury collision. While responding, it was reported that the driver and occupants of one vehicle had taken off on foot.

When emergency crews arrived on the scene, they were seen evaluating several people that were in the SUV including two small children. All injuries appeared minor, and no one from the SUV that was struck was transported to the hospital.

Just a few blocks away, police were seen questioning two females possibly related to the other vehicle that struck the SUV. They were also evaluated by emergency crews and no one was transported.

Police are still searching for the driver. More information to come.
