Deputies and Firefighters Work to Rescue Driver Stuck Down Ravine

Deputies and firefighters worked in tandem to rescue a driver who drove off side of the road down steep ravine.

Bonney Lake, WA: Friday night emergency crews received a call from a female driver stating that she had driven off the road and was stuck down a ravine.

This all went down on a sharp curve along Rhodes Lake Road.

The female driver, who was uninjured, was stuck down a 30-foot steep ravine.

One of the deputies on the call is a member of our Search & Rescue Team.

He was able to prepare a rope system to get down the hill to the driver. After that, with the help of firefighters and other deputies, the deputy was able to get her out of the vehicle and up the steep terrain to safety.
