Detectives Stop Suspects After Witnessing Robbery

Two detectives with King County Sheriff's Office witness robbery, pursue suspects, detain them after crash.

Federal Way, WA: At around noon today, two detectives with the King County Sheriff's Office were out at the Safeway off of South 320th and 11th Avenue S.

While at that location, both detective witnessed a strong-arm robbery of a purse and then gave chase.

The suspects took off in a white truck with the deputies pursuing. The truck made it to S 320th and Pacific Highway before crashing into another vehicle.

Witness Sarah Doughty took the above photo and video of the take- down, including this one with one female on the ground and deputy with his gun drawn toward the front of the truck.

King County Sheriff's Office stated the only complaint of injures was from a passenger in the suspect vehicle, and the driver of the suspect vehicle. Those were considered minor in nature.

Eastbound S 320th was closed at 11th Avenue S so detectives could investigate.

Investigation is ongoing.
