Dispute Ends with a Man Shot in the West Hill Area of Pacific


According to a neighbor, he heard two men arguing with each other followed by about three gunshots.

Pacific, WA: Statement from Pacific Police Department -

"Officers are investigating a shooting that took place at 10:21 p.m. tonight in the West Hill area of Pacific on 372nd Street.

One person was hospitalized in unknown condition with a gunshot wound and a suspect fled on foot.

Officers and Deputies are searching for that suspect now. He is described as a white male adult, approx. 6' tall and 200 lbs. More to follow this weekend as more information becomes available.

Police state that this does not appear to be a random act of violence, but if you live in the area, remain indoors tonight and lock your doors.

If you see or hear anyone suspicious in the area, please call 911 and do not investigate or try to make contact yourself."

King County Sheriff's Deputies, their Guardian One Helicopter, and Auburn Police K9 assisted in searching the area for the suspect, so far they have been unable to locate the suspect.

According to fire officials, the victim is a man in his 60s with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. At this time, they are treating the wound as life-threatening and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
