Elderly Female and Child Transported After Car Goes Over Embankment

Elderly female and child transported, another juvenile and dog uninjured after car goes over embankment.

Newcastle, WA: Around 2:15 p.m., crews with Bellevue Fire and King County Sheriff's Deputies received a report of a rollover collision in the 7000 132nd Place SE. When crews arrived, they found a silver Cadillac sedan had driven through a railing and over a 35 foot embankment and into a ditch.

In the vehicle were and 80-year-old female driver, a 12-year-old male back passenger, a teenage female front passenger and an unknown aged dog. The teenage female and dog were not injured. The 12-year- old and 80-year-old were transported to a local hospital with minor injures.

Because of the potential for more significant injuries due to the large drop, crews cut the roof off the vehicle to access the patients.
