Family displaced after a raging house fire in Tukwila.

Tukwila, WA: Just before 10 p.m., crews received reports of a house fire in the 15000 block of 42nd Avenue South.

Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke coming from all corners of the roof line to the home. Crews made an aggressive offensive attack.

Heavy fire and smoke was visible during their offensive attack and it took fire crews about 20 minutes to bring the fire under control.

Fire Officials state that at the time of the fire, the house was occupied by one resident that safely evacuated. That resident exited their bedroom and noticed heavy smoke coming from what they believed was their kitchen.

Fire officials state they had challenges getting hose line to the house due to the home being located on a hill with a one way in and one way out.

No injuries to civilians or firefighters. Cause is under investigation. At this time, Fire officials do not believe fireworks were the cause but that is still pending a full investigation.
