Kent, WA: Just after 10 p.m. emergency crews received several calls of a serious head on crash in the 9700 block of Canyon Road.

When crews arrived, they found a three car head-on crash with one vehicle engulfed in flames.

Once crews extinguished the car fire, they located a female passenger in the back seat deceased.

Kent Police state that two occupants in the red sedan were transported to area hospitals with one of them having what was described as serious, but did not believe life-threatening, injuries.

Kent Police also state that they are investigating this crash as a possible hit-and-run. They had reports from witnesses state that they saw another passenger and the driver run from the scene after it caught fire. At this time, Kent Police cannot confirm if this was a hit- and-run because of a lack of cooperation from the witnesses.
