Firefighters Respond to Overdose Only to Find the Patient Shot Dead

Firefighters respond to an overdose only to discover the patient actually had been shot.

Seattle, WA: Detectives are handling the investigation after a man was discovered deceased inside an RV earlier today.

At about 8:15 a.m., Seattle Fire responded to a report of a possible overdose inside an RV near 36th Avenue South and South Adams Street.

Seattle Fire arrived and discovered the unresponsive man and began life-saving measures, however, they quickly determined that the victim had been deceased for hours. Police were called to the scene.

Officers arrived and determined that the 51-year-old male victim had been shot. Detectives responded to the scene and are conducting the follow up investigation.
