Kent Police find an empty vehicle in the roadway after a terrible crash.

Around 1:30 Sunday morning, a Kent Police officer located a totaled Chrysler PT Cruiser in the 26000 block of Lake Fenwick road. The vehicle appeared to have left the roadway while traveling at a high rate of speed, taking out a fire hydrant and striking a tree before coming to rest in the oncoming lane. Officers as well as Firefighters from Puget Sound Fire checked the wooded areas around the crash with flashlights and thermal imaging camera but no victims were found at the crash site. Firefighters turned off the water from the broken hydrant and the vehicle was impounded by Kent Police.
