Good Samaritan Helps Evacuate Elderly Resident in Silverdale Inferno

Passerby taking their son to school notices a house on fire and springs into action in Silverdale.

Silverdale, WA: Just before 7 a.m., crews with Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue responded to a reported residential structure fire in the 10000 block of Frontier Place Northwest.

When crews arrived they found the home fully engulfed in flames but law enforcement on the scene reported everyone was able to make it out of the home safely.

According to Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue a passerby was taking their son to school when they noticed the flames. They immediately stopped and ran towards the burning home. They were able to evacuate the elderly female living inside and alert neighbors to the fire.

Thankfully no injuries reported.

Red Cross is on location assisting the female and the County Fire Marshal is investigating.
