Madison Park Bar Disturbance Leads to Help the Officer Call in Seattle

A disturbance involving a firearm and off-duty officer lead to a large police response to the Red Onion Tavern.

Seattle, WA: Just after 2 a.m., Seattle Police Dispatch center put out a city wide help the officer call in the Madison Park neighborhood of Seattle. The call was at the Red Onion Tavern where an off-duty officer had called in requesting help with a disturbance.

The off-duty officer states one of the people involved in the disturbance was armed and that the weapon had been secured.

Seattle Fire arrived and evaluated at least one person.

At this point, details are still very limited as a Lieutenant on the scene states this was an officer involved incident but no mention on how the officer was involved.

Seattle Police Public Affairs Office has classified this as a simple bar disturbance.

A Seattle Police Guild member was called out to the scene last night and was seen leading one person away.
