Man Fatally Wounded in Seattle Officer Involved Shooting w/Body Cam Footage

Seattle Police kill suspect after responding to a domestic disturbance call in lower Queen Anne.

Seattle, WA: Around 7:15p.m., officers with the west precinct responded to a series of 911 hang up calls coming from an apartment building at 600 3rd Ave W. While responding, Seattle Police received other calls of an active domestic disturbance occurring on the third floor.

When officers arrived on the third floor, they encountered a male suspect armed with a knife. Two officers fired at the suspect striking him an unknown amount of times. The suspect was pronounced deceased on-scene.

Personnel with the Seattle Force Investigation Team (FIT), Office of Professional Accountability, Crime Scene Investigations, and King County Sheriff's Office are on-scene investigating this incident.

The officer's involved were outfitted with body worn cameras. Seattle PD released that footage which can be viewed below.
