Neighbor Shoots Randomly Into Home Narrowly Missing Children Inside

Kent Police took a male into custody after a report he fired multiple rounds into a neighbor's home.

Kent, WA: Just after noon time today, Kent Police received reports of a shooting in the 3900 block of South 271st in the Star Lake neighborhood of Kent.

Police arrived and had to evacuate a family and two small children using an armored vehicle after finding several bullet holes in the victim's home.

Kent Police called in the Valley Swat Team who was able to successfully take a male into custody after utilizing a flash bang grenade and negotiations.

Due to the severity of the incident, nearby Star Lake Elementary School was placed into lockdown with security blocking all entrances.

Kent Police are still investigating.
