Neighborhood Sent into Lock Down After Suspect Fires Shots at Bounty Hunter

A suspect attempting to flee from a bounty hunter fired multiple shots at the agent as they fled into nearby woods.

Thurston County, WA: Sometime this morning, a bail enforcement agent or "bounty hunter" went to a residence in the area of Forest Park Street Northwest and Holiday Valley Drive Northwest to take a suspect into custody for a DUI warrant.

That suspect pulled out a gun and fired two shots at the agent but thankfully missed and no one was struck by the gunfire.

The suspect then fled the residence into the nearby woods near Oyster Bay Road.

The Sheriff's Office called in their SWAT and K9 teams and eventually were able to take the 33-year-old male into custody without further incident.
