One Dead After Rollover Crash Along Interstate 5 in Tacoma

One person was killed after a violent roll over crash along Interstate 5 near the the Port of Tacoma.

Tacoma, WA: Just before 10:30 p.m., emergency crews started receiving several calls regarding a one vehicle rollover collision on Interstate 5 near the Puyallup River Bridge exit in Tacoma.

While responding, crews were advised that C.P.R was in progress on the driver of the vehicle.

When crews arrived, they found a white in color sedan upside down on the median with the back end almost in the northbound lanes and one person, who was the driver, in the roadway.

Crews immediately started life saving measures but they were unsuccessful and the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Crews shut down all southbound lanes of Interstate 5 diverting them onto the Puyallup River Bridge exit while they investigated.

The lanes reopened at around 2 a.m.

Troopers state that speed, drugs/alcohol, and not wearing your seat belt were all factors in this deadly crash.
