One Injured After over a Dozen Shots are Fired in Tacoma Alleyway

Tacoma Police are investigating after a women suffered minor injuries during this afternoon shootout.

Tacoma, WA: Tacoma Police state that around 3:42 p.m. they received multiple reports of shots fired with injuries in the alley of 4000 block of South Lawrence.

When officers arrived, they found a female suffering minor injuries from the shooting. Tacoma Fire arrived and treated the female.

Tacoma Police state that this possibly started as a minor vehicle collision that escalated to over a dozen shots being fired. Multiple vehicles and buildings were struck and damaged. Neighbors who did not want to go on camera expressed concern as children were out playing in the area when the shooting happened.

Police are looking for a light colored sedan at this point. Police hope multiple surveillance cameras in the alley will aid in the investigation to find out who the shooter(s) are.
