Police responded to a reported stabbing in the 1400 block of East Portland During a Domestic Disturbance.

Tacoma, WA: At around 1:50 a.m., Tacoma Police and Medics responded to the 1400 block of East 67th after a caller stated a female had been stabbed and needed medical attention before hanging up on the 911 call receiver. While officers and medics responded, the another person called stating that they believed this to be a domestic disturbance and also stated a female had been stabbed.

When officers arrived, they detained several occupants of the home and located the injured female out front suffering a wound to her side.

While interviewing several witnesses, the males they had detained, and the injured female, it was apparent no one was willing to cooperate. The injured female stated that she had fallen and noticed she was injured. She refused to say she was stabbed and was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The two males detained and other witnesses were hostile with responding officers and refuted any claims the female was stabbed.

At this time, everyone that was detained was released on the scene and officers are working on contacting other witnesses to figure out what happened.
