Overnight Shooting Leaves One Injured in Federal Way

25-year-old male was injured in an apparent parking lot shooting overnight at The Union Apartments in Federal Way.

Federal Way, WA: According to Federal Way Police at around 11:30 p.m. last night, emergency crews received several reports of a shooting at The Union Apartments located at 2111 Southwest 352nd Street.

As crews were responding, it was reported that the a victim of the shooting was being transported in a private vehicle to Saint Francis Hospital in Federal Way.

Police and Paramedics responded to the hospital and made contact with the victim at the emergency room. The victim is described as a 25- year-old male that was ultimately transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with non-life-threatening injuries and is not cooperating with police.

Police also responded to the original scene to investigate and located several shell casings in the parking lot of The Union Apartments outside building seven.

During the course of their investigation, police contacted several witnesses who also did not cooperate with officers.

It is believed the suspect(s) were in a vehicle and fled the area immediately following the shooting, but there is no suspect description at this time.
