Pedestrian Left With Serious Injuries After Hit-and-Run Along Pacific Highway

The male was attempting to cross Pacific Highway when they were reportedly struck by a vehicle.

Kent, WA: Just before 1 a.m., emergency crews received reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the 26000 block of Pacific Highway South in Kent. When police and fire crews arrived, they found one person down on the ground at the northeast corner of the intersection.

The pedestrian was awake and talking with emergency crews while on the scene but appeared to have a severe leg injury.

Police at this time believe an unknown make or model vehicle struck the pedestrian and fled northbound.

The pedestrian was transported with a local hospital and their condition is currently unknown, though the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police are currently seeking witnesses and the driver that struck the pedestrian.
