Police Seeking Help Identifying Suspect Who Attacked Woman on Beacon Hill

Seattle Police Department have released a sketch of suspect involved in attack.

A woman was attacked walking home on Beacon Hill late last month, and Seattle Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.

The attack occurred late last month around 8:40 p.m., when the victim was walking on South College Street near 15th Avenue South. The suspect approached the victim from behind and wrapped a cord around her neck. She screamed for help and was able to free herself from the suspect's grip. The woman ran to a neighbor's house and called 911, while the suspect fled eastbound on College Street.

The detectives were able to develop a sketch of the suspect and hope someone will recognize him.

Suspect is described as 5'6" to 5'8" tall, between 18 and 25 years old, and was wearing all black clothing at the time of the incident.
