Resident Rescued Off Balcony, Pets Rescued from inside Puyallup House Fire

A resident of the home had to be rescued from the second story balcony according to Central Pierce Fire and Rescue.

Puyallup, WA: At around 5:08 p.m., crews with Central Pierce Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 400 block of 7th Street Southwest in Downtown Puyallup.

Crews were able to get a handle on the fire quickly and crews are now checking for hot spots.

One resident of the home had to be rescued off the second floor balcony.

Thankfully no injuries were reported.

Crews were also able to rescue two dogs and a cat from inside the home. Central Pierce Fire Marshal will be investigating
