Road Rage Leads to Shots Fired and Crash in Kent

A brake check led to shots fired and the victim vehicle crashing into a Semi, no one hit by gunfire.

Kent, WA: Per King County Sheriff's Office at around 10 p.m. their deputies responded to the 5500 block of South 277th for a vehicle versus semi collision.

While on the scene, it was found out that the vehicle that crashed into the semi was involved in a road rage incident where a shot was fired.

Deputies state that the victim vehicle brake checked the suspect vehicle who then fired a shot hitting the driver side of the victim vehicle. No one in the victim vehicle was struck by gunfire.

As the victim was speeding away after being shot at, it collided with a semi truck near SR-167. The driver and passenger of the victim vehicle suffered injuries related to the collision and were transported to an area hospital.

Sheriff's Deputies state that Washington State Patrol, Auburn Police, and Kent Police responded to assist and so far have been unable to locate the suspect who fled.
