Lake Forest Park, WA: Over the weekend, several residents received calls from the "Lake Forest Park Police Department."
The calls were asking residents to purchase gift cards to pay off a warrant for their arrest.
The caller ID was spoofed to show it was coming from the police department. A caller asking for gift cards to pay off anything, is a SCAM.
Please report all suspicious activity through 911.
