Seattle Fire Extinguishes Well Involved Boat Fire at Fishermen's Terminal


When crews arrived the boat was fully engulfed in flames, quick attack kept it from spreading to nearby boats.

No injuries reported after boat explodes into flames at Seattle's Fishermen's Terminal just before 10:30 p.m.

Seattle, WA: Just before 10:30 p.m. Seattle Fire was dispatched to a report of a Marine Fire on Shore at Fishermen's Terminal, in the 1500 block of West Thurman Street.

When crews arrived, they found a fishing boat with heavy fire conditions in the marina. Crews initiated a fast attack and were able to knock down the flames in ten minutes.

Crews conducted a search of the boat and found no occupants.

No injuries reported and the cause is under investigation by the fire marshal's office.
