Stabbing Leaves One Injured, One Detained Outside Capital Hill Nightclub

One male was transported, another in handcuffs, after a stabbing outside a popular Capital Hill night club.

Seattle, WA: Seattle Police responded just before 1a.m. to a reported scene of violence outside Neighbours Nightclub on Broadway and East Pike in the Capital Hill Neighborhood.

When officers arrived they found one male with a stab wound to his right side awake and talking. During the investigation, one male was placed in handcuffs in the back of a police vehicle. It is unknown at this time if they are going to be charged with a crime.

The victim was transported to an area trauma center in unknown condition.

Statement from Seattle Police:

On May 18, 2019 at around 12:50 a.m. police responded to an assault near Broadway and E Pike St. The 911 caller reported a man had stabbed another man at this location. Officers arrived, took the suspect into custody, and provided emergency medical care to the victim until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived. Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center for additional treatment. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening. Police booked the suspect into King County Jail was for investigation of assault.
