Steel Thrown from an Overpass Injures at Least One Driver in Seattle

An unknown person threw a large piece of steel from an overpass striking two vehicles causing minor injuries.

Seattle, WA: Scary moments this morning along Interstate 5 near Interstate 90 as an unknown person threw a large piece of steel from an overpass down onto the busy interstate. Washington State Patrol received at least two calls in regards to this around 5:30 a.m.

As you can see throw the photos the piece cause significant damage to two vehicles.

According to the Washington State Patrol only minor injuries were reported during this incident.

There is no suspect description and they are still outstanding. Per Washington State Patrol a victim described and individual standing on a guardrail of an overpass prior to the steel hitting their vehicle.

Washington State Patrol did recover the piece that was thrown. It is amazing no one was seriously injured.
