Two Found Dead on Fox Island After Domestic Violence Call

911 Dispatchers received a call on Fox Island of a domestic violence situation. While on the call, shots were fired.

At 4:57 p.m. on Sunday November 17, 2019, Pierce County Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 from a woman reporting a domestic violence altercation with her husband at their home on Queets Place on Fox Island. The caller reported that her husband had a gun, then seconds later the dispatcher heard multiple shots being fired.

When deputies arrived they found the 48 year old female victim in front of the home deceased from gunshot wounds. Next to the victim, deputies also located 57 year old male suspect deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Detectives and forensics processed the scene and interviewed witnesses throughout the night.
