Tacoma, WA: Shortly after 1 a.m., crews with Tacoma Fire received a report of a residential structure fire in the 1900 block of South Ash Street. While responding, it was advised that there were several people calling in a large fire in the area and did not know if the home or an outside structure was on fire.

When crews arrived, they found a fully involved Yurt structure towards the front of the property. The yurt is a tent-like structure that can be used as a dwelling. It is not known if it was occupied at the time of the fire.

Crews were able to knock down the flames very quickly.
