Man Injured in Northeast Houston Shooting

Man in unknown condition after shooting.

Houston, TX: Houston police are on scene of a shooting in northeast Houston.

Officers were called out to a home in the 7200 block of Springdale Street shortly before 1:30 p.m. Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department took the victim to Ben Taub Hospital in an unknown condition, according to HFD.

The Houston Police Department tweeted that the victim was conscious and breathing when he was taken to the hospital.

On Springdale, police have marked two apparent shell casings in the roadway and have closed off the small residential street as they investigate. It is unclear if anyone is in custody.
