Tustin: Officers Remove Man from Vehicle After Pursuit Termination Standoff

INCIDENT DETAILS:
- A man led Santa Ana Police officers on a high speed pursuit before coming to a stop in a gas station;
- The man, who appeared to be intoxicated, refused to comply with officers and exit the vehicle;
- After waiting for the man to comply, officers used less than lethal ammunition to shoot out the windows of the suspect's vehicle;
- The man continued to refuse to comply and a team of officers moved in to physically extricate the man without incident;
- The suspect was placed into custody and treated on scene by firefighter paramedics before being transported to an area hospital;
- The Santa Ana and Tustin Police Departments are handling the investigation.
