New video recorded by a citizen shows a man on a bike at an intersection letting the air out of a police car's tire.

The Stockton Police Department posted a video yesterday showing a shirtless man on a bicycle calmly and nonchalantly deflating the tire of Stockton police SUV's tire at an intersection.

The man, 41-year-old Luis Zavalza, was apparently intoxicated when the incident occurred on July 26.

It was a warm summer day at around 6:41 p.m. when Zavala was arrested for tampering with a police vehicle and being under the influence of drugs and alcohol after a citizen called dispatchers to report he was letting the air out of marked patrol vehicles

All of it.

The short video clip posted to the Stockton Police Department Facebook page shows Zavala letting air out of the tire until it was completely flat.

Officers later spoke to witnesses who positively identified him.

Police also used a video, which was later uploaded to Facebook.

The tire had to be changed, according to the department.

He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.

The department posted to social media describing the incident:

Booting his car for unpaid parking fines.. lol. I like it.

he was just checking the air pressure!

he was just setting the air free!

he was penalizing the cop for illegally parking in an intersection!

he thought the air in the tire was too hot!
