WATCH: Citizen Records California Man Deflating Police Car Tire, then Calls 911
The Stockton Police Department posted a video yesterday showing a shirtless man on a bicycle calmly and nonchalantly deflating the tire of Stockton police SUV's tire at an intersection.
The man, 41-year-old Luis Zavalza, was apparently intoxicated when the incident occurred on July 26.
It was a warm summer day at around 6:41 p.m. when Zavala was arrested for tampering with a police vehicle and being under the influence of drugs and alcohol after a citizen called dispatchers to report he was letting the air out of marked patrol vehicles
All of it.
The short video clip posted to the Stockton Police Department Facebook page shows Zavala letting air out of the tire until it was completely flat.
Officers later spoke to witnesses who positively identified him.
Police also used a video, which was later uploaded to Facebook.
The tire had to be changed, according to the department.
He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.

SPD News: Man Arrested For Tampering With A Patrol Vehicle
This evening, at 6:41 pm, Officers responded to 4950 Pacific Av (Weberstwon Mall) to investigate a report of a subject tampering with a City of Stockton police vehicle. Citizens called in to report the subject was letting the air out of a marked patrol vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located a subject matching the description nearby. He was positively identified by multiple witnesses and a Facebook video which was uploaded shortly after the incident occurred. The tire was completely flattened and had to be changed. Arrested was Luis Zavalza, 41, out of Sacramento, for tampering with a vehicle and being under the influence of drugs/alcohol. He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
