A masked intruder entered a police station and resisted being captured.

Police in Texas had a difficult time apprehending an intruder in their police department who resembled a raccoon.

The Bedford Police Department posted video of the incident on Twitter September 1 and joked about the ordeal.

"Anyone need a laugh on a Monday? Something kept our Animal Control Officer and Detention Officers busy this morning! ~~#~~Monday."

Surveillance videos shows the raccoon escaping police before finally being captured

During the police officers' attempts to capture the raccoon, an animal control officer can be seen laughing, apparently finding the cops' and her own failed attempts amusing.

The raccoon was eventually release and reportedly unharmed during the ordeal.
