A woman allegedly recorded performing a sex act on her 1-year-old son told detectives she was coerced into it by an Iberville Parish deputy who told her it was "his fantasy" and that he'd help her with her pending legal matter, St. Gabriel Police Chief Kevin Ambeau said on Saturday.
The mother, 26-year-old Iyesha Todd, told investigators sheriff's deputy Shaderick Jones promised that if she performed oral sex on her son Wednesday he would not arrest her on an open warrant for an outstanding traffic ticket fine, according to Chief Ambeau, who said Todd told investigators that Jones recorded the incident with his cell phone camera.
Jones, 42, was arrested Friday night at around 11:45 p.m. by St. Gabriel police who coordinated with the Port Allen Police Department and the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office to execute a search warrant for Jones' residence.
Authorities seized electronic devices belonging to Jones.
Authorities have proof Jones was in possession of pornography, but it's not clear if any of the devices inspected by investigators contain images involving children.
GPS tracking tied to Jones' sheriff's cruiser puts him at Todd's residence at around 3 p.m. Thursday, according to the chief, while Jones was still on duty.
Jones, whose shift ended at 4 p.m., remained at Todd's residence for about two hours and the video was recorded at 4:38 p.m.
"He had been off duty for 30 minutes," Ambeau said.
"Still in uniform."
Todd was booked into the Iberville Parish jail on charges of first-degree rape and incest, according to the Advocate.
Jones was booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Detention Center on charges of pornography involving juveniles, first-degree rape and malfeasance in office.
