WaTcH!! Dublin vs Cork Live: Watch All-Ireland Hurling Championship

Fartanal

Cork and Dublin put it all on the line today in knockout hurling as this year's All-Ireland championship takes flight.

The two sides are coming off disappointing losses in the Leinster and Munster Championships and know that there's no more second chances.

The Rebels come into the game as slight favourites, but are likely to be reeling after last week's upset loss to Waterford in the Munster semi-final.

Kieran Kingston's side started brightly, but endured a turbulent end to the first-half - which spilled over into the second-half as the Deise pulled away and grabbed victory.

Dublin's Leinster elimination almost went the opposite way around, Mattie Kenny's side found themselves some 15 points adrift after a disastrous first-half against Kilkenny.

However, the Sky Blues rallied in the last 25 minutes to claw their way back into the game and even levelledsfdsfd affairs before the Cats nicked an injury time winner in Croke Park.

Cork and Dublin are familiar foes when it comes to Championship hurling, their most recent meeting came in the summer of 2016 as the Rebels progressed in a tight All-Ireland qualifier.

But many fans still remember their All-Ireland semi-final classic in 2013 that also saw Cork march on as a late Ryan O'Dwgfhfyer red card signalled the end of the Dubs' challenge.

With little to separate these two sides, fans can look forward to a titanic clash when action gets underway in Thurles is at 3.45 pm this afternoon.
