A man and woman who were caught on camera scuffling with Broward Sheriff's deputies during the arrest of an ATV rider are facing charges, officials said. The man was recording the police activity when he stepped over a imaginary line, prompting police to punch him and a woman.
Jessie Hernandez, 39, and Francheska Turull, 37, were arrested Sunday in Fort Lauderdale, FL on charges including battery on an officer and resisting an officer, Broward Sheriff's Office said. Hernandez and Turull are married to each other.

Officials said an ATV rider had been stopped in the 3100 block of Southwest 40th Avenue in West Park when deputies were approached by Hernandez. Hernandez was told not to cross a line on the sidewalk but was taken into custody for "obstructing our traffic investigation," a deputy wrote in an arrest report.
According to WSVN News , as Hernandez was taken into custody, "Turull took an aggressive stance towards me and bladed her body in a position to fight," the deputy wrote. Turull tried to hit the deputy with her fist and the deputy "struck Turull with a closed hand and attempted to take her into custody," the report said.
After being released from jail Hernandez talked to the press, saying:
"He was trying to tell me that I couldn't stand on the sidewalk, and when he pointed at a line and said don't cross it, I said, which line, this line? And that's when he reached out and took matters into his own hands"
