A UFO filmed by the US Navy relaunches speculation on extraterrestrial life

This is a news that could relaunch the debate on a possible extraterrestrial presence on earth. An announcement that will probably strengthen the conviction of convinced followers of the existence of extraterrestrials and their presence among us. Online magazine Daily Galaxy reports that the American navy has captured an unidentified flying object (UFO) off the Californian coast.

Registered in 2023, the extract shows a strange object in the form of “ticking”, a term often used to designate UFOs with oval and elongated silhouette. The American media NBC News said that the mystery remains whole: on the video, filmed from a navy ship, there is an object an object moving at an impressive speed, much higher than that of conventional line planes.

The dissemination of this extract is part of a context of growing interest from the civil and military authorities for unidentified aerospace phenomena (PAN). In recent years, the American Department of Defense has raised the secret on several reports of “third type” meetings.

The phenomenon of UFOs is deeply rooted in the American collective imagination. Influenced by multiple factors – religious, cultural, media – almost 43% of Americans believe in the presence of UFOs on Earth, according to a IFOP report published in 2023.

Ufology at the heart of all theories

Ufological discipline occupies a central place in this dynamic of belief. Appearing after the Second World War, she often describes extraterrestrials as benevolent spiritual entities, concerned with the destiny of the planet Earth.

The Raelian movement, known for its boom in the 1970s under the direction of French Claude Vorilhon, alias Raël, is often described as one of the most important communities of ufological believers in the world. Accused of sectarian aberrations, the movement aroused the concern of the French authorities, to the point of being closely monitored.

Some specialists, such as the American Jeremy Corbell – sometimes criticized for the reliability of their work and a certain tendency to sensationalism – contribute to popularizing these unexplained phenomena, by disseminating and analyzing for the general public these documents, as was the case for the video of the American navy.

The publication of this new observation could contribute to evolving the look at UFOs and PANs. Long considered as anomalies, these videos gain credibility as they are relayed by soldiers and government officials, contributing to a progressive change in perceptions.

The fact remains that the mystery remains. To date, there is nothing to say that an extraterrestrial presence exists somewhere on earth.
