In the United States, the resurgence of the measles virus worried. Between the beginning of 2025 and Friday, March 7, the centers for the control and prevention of diseases (CDC), the main federal agency in charge of public health, have identified 222 cases in twelve different states, especially in the south and east of the country. Two people died-a child in Texas on February 26, an adult in New Mexico on March 6-, which has been a first in the United States for almost ten years. The first of the two victims is a 6 -year -old girl from the city of Seminole, in western Texas, and belonging to the congregation of a Mennonite church, an evangelical Christian community considered sectarian.
Tom Bartlet, a journalist from the American monthly magazine The Atlantic, went to the church to which the deceased girl was attached. On the spot, a man comes to meet him to know his intentions. His name is Peter. The journalist explains to him that he is here to write on the epidemic of measles and asks him if the child concerned was well part of this congregation. Peter confirms this information and adds, moved: “He’s our child.”
In all cases reported by the American health authorities, 94% of the persons concerned had an unknown vaccination status or were not vaccinated. This was the case of Peter’s daughter. That said, the American father does not seem to regret a decision which however cost his child’s life. He even justifies it with the journalist. “We don’t trust what’s in the vaccinehe says. We do not like vaccines, those they currently offer. We have heard and seen too much. ”
The Texan parishioner continues, opening a window on the current state of mind of many anti -vax conspirators. About measles, he believes in a mistake – that “Everyone has it”. He says he has heard that contracting the virus could strengthen the immune system. Regarding his daughter, his death is said to come under the will of God. “Everyone must die”he said before melting into tears. “It’s really very hardfinally admits Peter. It leaves a big void. “
Government disinformation
The online magazine Futurism notes that several Peter claims echo recent statements by the new American Minister of Health and Social Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The latter advanced, during the first television meeting of the firm of President Donald Trump, at the end of February, that the epidemic of measles in the United States was “Not unusual”that she touched the country “Each year”. A statement that is only true because an antivaccin dynamic, of which Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is one of the spearheads, significantly lowers the vaccination rate.
In an interview with the Fox News channel, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wrongly added that “If you are in good health, it is almost impossible that you are killed by an infectious disease in modern times”ensuring that a good nutrition may be enough to protect people from the worst effects of measles. The US Minister also considered that the best protection against the disease was the breast of a woman who is not polluted by the vaccine. About Peter’s daughter, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke of the idea that “Malnutrition may have been a cause of his death”.
RFK TELLS THE WORLD THAT VACCINES ARE OVERRATED, in FACT that the Best Protection Against Measles is the Breast MILK OF A WOMAN WHO HASN’T BEEN TAINTED by the Vaccine.

The United States is not the only country to suffer from the return of measles. In France, the Ministry of Health called, on Friday, March 7, all professionals in the medical sector in vigilance. The Directorate General of Health (DGS) has issued an alert form, in which it indicates to expect an upsurge in the disease “In the coming weeks”.
